Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Qorrect ("we", "our", or "us") handles your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). Qorrect is designed with a strong commitment to your privacy, operating entirely offline and ensuring that none of your data is ever sent to the internet.

Information We Don't Collect

Qorrect is built on the principle of data minimization. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information or contact data to our servers. All data processing, including contact modifications and backups, happens exclusively on your device. This approach aligns with Apple's stringent privacy guidelines, and the app undergoes regular audits during the App Store review process to validate these privacy claims.

Contact Data

Phonetiq requires access to your device's contacts to function. We use this access to:

• Read your existing contacts
• Add phonetic spelling information to your contacts' names
• Create backups of phonetic data (stored locally on your device only)
• Perform background processing of contacts (all processing occurs locally on your device)

Important: Your contact information never leaves your device. All processing happens locally.

Notifications

Phonetiq can send push notifications to inform you when background processing of contacts is complete. These notifications are:

• Generated and displayed entirely on your device
• Not sent through or stored on any external servers
• Optional and can be disabled at any time in the app settings

The app may request permission to send notifications. You can grant or deny this permission, and you can change your preference at any time in your device settings.

Background Processing

Phonetiq includes a feature for daily background processing of contacts. This feature:

• Runs locally on your device at scheduled times (typically 2:00 AM)
• Processes contacts only on your device with no data transmitted externally
• Maintains logs of processing activities that are stored only on your device
• Is optional and can be disabled in the app settings

Data Storage

All data, including your contacts with added phonetic information and processing logs, is stored solely on your device using standard iOS contact storage and our app's local storage for backups. We do not maintain any servers that store your information.

Third-Party Services

Phonetiq does not integrate with any third-party services that would collect your data.

Analytics

We do not use any analytics services to track your usage of the App.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect or store your data on our servers, there is no need for data access, correction, or deletion requests. You maintain complete control over your data at all times.

Changes to Your Contacts

Phonetiq modifies your contact entries by adding phonetic spelling information. These changes:

• Do not alter the original spelling of your contacts' names
• Only add information to the dedicated phonetic fields in your contacts
• Can be removed at any time by using the backup/restore function in the App or by manually editing your contacts

Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the effective date at the top of this page.
